The AEW40LCD is a left-handed AEW series acoustic/ electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2016. It was produced in China.
The AEW40LCD features a grand concert shaped body with a soft Florentine cutaway. The top is laminated walnut with multi wooden binding on walnut back and sides with a high gloss finish. The round soundhole has a maple rosette. It has a mahogany neck with a dovetail neck joint and a 25½" scale, 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with maple dot position markers. Components include a plastic saddle in a rosewood bridge, black plastic bridge pins, a plastic nut, and chrome Ibanez die-cast tuning machines with black buttons.
The AEW40CD is a right-handed version.
The AEW40LCD was discontinued after 2016.
