The AEN480F is a nylon-string AEG series acoustic/ electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1999. It was produced in Korea.
The AEN480F features a thinner grand concert shaped body with a soft venetian cutaway. The top is solid spruce with black and white binding on rosewood back and sides with a high gloss finish. The round soundhole has an intricate marquetry rosette. It has a mahogany neck with 19-fret rosewood fingerboard with small white dot position markers at 12-fret. Components include a plastic saddle in an rosewood bridge with tie block, a plastic nut, and gold classical tuning Machines with pearl buttons. Electronics consist of a Fishman piezo pickup connected to an Ibanez 4 Band-EQ preamp with onboard tuner powered by a 9V battery and ¼" stereo output jack.
The AEG450 is a related model with flame maple top. The AEG400 is a steel-string version with spruce top, chrome die-cast machine heads.
