The AEL2012 is an AEL series 12-string acoustic/electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2003. It was produced in China.
The AEL2012 features a Venetian cutaway body shape with a flamed maple top with standard X bracing on maple back and sides with a low gloss finish mated to a set-in mahogany neck with 20 medium frets, rosewood fingerboard with rounded edges, white dots position markers. The soundhole is round with an abalone wooden rosette and soundhole binding. Components include a compensated bone saddle in a scalloped rosewood ebony bridge with Ibanez Advantage pins, a bone nut, and Gold die-cast tuning machines.
