The AEL10L is a left-handed AEL series acoustic/electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2003. It was produced in China.
The AEL10L features an AEL jumbo-sized body with a Venetian cutaway constructed of a laminated spruce top on laminated mahogany sides and back with a gloss finish. The soundhole is round with an abalone rosette. The mahogany neck joins the body at the 14th fret and has a rosewood fingerboard with 20 frets and white dot position markers. Components include a compensated plastic saddle in a scalloped rosewood ebony bridge with Ibanez Advantage pins, a plastic nut, and chrome die-cast tuning machines.
For 2004 the nut and saddle were changed to Ivorex II, the bridge pins were changed to Ibanez Advantage pins, and the factory strings were changed from Elixir to D'Addario.
The AEL10 is a right handed version.
The AEL10L was discontinued after 2004 and replaced for 2005 with the AEL10LE which is a similar model with a different preamp.
