AEGB25E Transparent Black Sunburst High Gloss, Natural High Gloss Back and Sides (more images)
The AEGB25E is an AEG series acoustic/ electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2025. It is produced in Indonesia.
The AEGB25E features a thin body with a soft Florentine cutaway constructed of a laminated flamed maple top with black binding on laminated sapele sides and back. The round soundhole has an acrylic rosette and and a marbau thumb rest. The nyatoh and maple neck joins the body at the 16th fret and has a 32" scale, 21-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot position markers. Components include a compensated plastic saddle in a rosewood bridge with black plastic bridge pins, a plastic nut, and black Ibanez die-cast tuning machines.
Electronics consist of an Ibanez under saddle pickup connected to an Ibanez AEQ-2T preamp with onboard tuner powered by a 9V battery and feeding a ¼" stereo output.
The AEGB24E is a similar model with a sapele top. The AEGB30E is a similar model with a spruce top with and elbow contour.
