The AEGB10E is an AEG series acoustic/ electric bass model introduced by Ibanez in late 2018. It was produced in China as a spot model which is sold exclusively by Japanese retailer Ikebe Gakki.
The AEGB10E features a thin body with a soft Florentine cutaway. The top is laminated mahogany with herringbone purfling and black binding on sapele back and sides. The round soundhole has an ABS rosette and the back features a black center strip inlay. It has a maple neck with a 32" scale, 21-fret walnut fingerboard with maple dot position markers. Components include a compensated plastic saddle in a walnut bridge with black plastic bridge pins, a plastic nut, and chrome Ibanez die-cast tuning machines. Electronics consist of an Ibanez under saddle pickup connected to an Ibanez AEQ-2T preamp with onboard tuner powered by a 9V battery and a ¼" stereo output.
The AEGB14E is a similar regular production model with a mahogany or sapele top.
