Electronics consist of an Ibanez undersaddle pickup connected to an Ibanez AEQ-2T preamp with onboard tuner powered by a 9V battery and ¼" stereo output.
The AEG7MH is a similar model with a sapele top. The AEG7TN is a similar nylon-stringed model.
The AEG7 was discontinued after just one year in production.
