The AEG7TN is an AEG series nylon- stringed acoustic/ electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2020. It was produced in China. It replaced the similar AEG8E.
The AEG7TN features a thinner grand concert shaped body with a soft Venetian cutaway. The top is laminated spruce with binding on sapele back and sides with an open pore finish. The round soundhole has a black & white acrylic rosette. It has an okoume neck with a 25" scale, 20-fret purpleheart fingerboard with small white dot position markers. Components include a plastic saddle in a purpleheart bridge, Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, a plastic nut, and chrome Ibanez classical tuning machines. Electronics consist of an Ibanez undersaddle pickup connected to an Ibanez AEQ-2T preamp with onboard tuner powered by a 9V battery and ¼" stereo output.
For 2021 the body length was very slightly increased.
