The AEG50N is an AEG series nylon stringed acoustic/ electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2020. It was originally produced in China; a second version produced in Indonesia was added for 2021 — the Chinese and Indonesian versions are sold in different market and differences between the two are shown in the specifications table below.
The AEG50N features a thinner grand concert shaped body with a soft Venetian cutaway. The top is laminated spruce with black and white binding on sapele or okoume back and sides with a high gloss finish. The round soundhole has a black & white acrylic rosette. It has a satin-finish nyatoh neck with a 25" scale, 20-fret walnut or laurel fingerboard with small white dot position markers. Components include a plastic saddle in a walnut or laurel bridge, a plastic nut, and gold Ibanez classical tuning machines with white buttons. Electronics consist of an Ibanez T-bar II undersaddle pickup connected to an Ibanez AEQ-TTS preamp with onboard tuner and LCD display powered by a 9V battery and ¼" stereo output jack.
