The AEG20E is an AEG series acoustic/ electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2009. It was produced in China.
The AEG20E features a thinner grand concert shaped body with a soft Venetian cutaway with a flamed maple top on mahogany back and sides with a high gloss finish. The round soundhole has an abalone purfling rosette. It has a satin-finish confort grip mahogany neck with a 25" scale, 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with small white dot position markers. Components include a plastic saddle in an rosewood bridge, Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, a plastic nut, and Ibanez gold Smooth tuner AS machines. Electronics consist of a Fishman Sonicore pickup connected to an Ibanez AEQ-SST Shape Shifter preamp with onboard tuner and LCD display powered by a 9V battery and Balanced XLR & ¼" stereo output jack.
