The AEG12Ⅱ is an AEG series acoustic/ electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in late 2014. It was produced in China.

The AEG12Ⅱ features a thinner grand concert shaped body with a soft Venetian cutaway. The top is laminated flamed maple or flamed sycamore with black and white binding on sapele back and sides with a high gloss finish. The round soundhole has an abalone rosette. It has a satin-finish mahogany neck with a 25" scale, 21-fret rosewood fingerboard with special position markers. Components include a plastic saddle in a rosewood bridge, Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, a plastic nut, and chrome Ibanez die-cast tuning machines with half moon buttons. Electronics consist of a Fishman Sonicore pickup connected to an Ibanez AEQ-SP1 preamp with onboard tuner powered by a 9V battery and ¼" stereo output jack.

For 2018 the back and sides were changed from mahogany to sapele and the top was also changed to sapele for some markets. For 2019 the rosewood fretboard and bridge were replaced with laurel, balsamo wood or walnut; the mahogany neck was replaced with nyatoh and the change to a sapele top was made worldwide. For 2020 the AEG12Ⅱ was discontinued in the US market and only the walnut fretboard and bridge was retained.

The AEG19Ⅱ is a related model with a flamed maple top. The AEG15Ⅱ is a similar model with a cedar top and different fretboard position markers.

The AEG12Ⅱ was discontinued after 2020.
