The AE355K is an AE series acoustic/electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2018. It is made in China.
The AE355K features a Venetian cutaway body shape with a solid flamed Hawaiian koa top with scalloped cross-bracing and flamed Hawaiian koa back (with Tone Projection cross bracing) and sides with a gloss finish. The soundhole is round with an abalone and maple rosette. It has a satin-finished mahogany neck with a 20-fret cultured maple fingerboard with special mother of pearl vine inlay. Components include a compensated bone saddle in a cultured maple bridge with Ibanez Advantage pins, a bone nut, a tortoise pickguard and chrome die-cast tuning machines. Electronics consist of a T-bar undersaddle pickup connected to an Ibanez Custom Electronics preamp mounted internally with a ¼" endpin output.
The AE315K is a similar model with a solid Sitka spruce top. The AE315 is a related model with a solid Sitka spruce top and pau ferro back and sides.
The AE355K was offered only in Japan and was produced only in 2018.
