The AE315FMH is an AE series acoustic/electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2019. It is made in China as a limited edition model.
The AE315FMH features a Venetian cutaway body shape with a solid flamed okuome top with scalloped cross-bracing and flamed okuome back (with Tone Projection cross bracing) and sides with a gloss finish. The soundhole is round with an abalone and maple rosette. It has a satin-finished nyatoh neck with a 20-fret cultured maple fingerboard with special mother of pearl vine inlay. Components include a compensated bone saddle in a cultured maple bridge with Ibanez Advantage pins, a bone nut, a tortoise pickguard and chrome die-cast tuning machines. Electronics consist of a T-bar undersaddle pickup connected to an Ibanez Custom Electronics preamp mounted internally with a ¼" endpin output.
The AE315 (Solid Sitka spruce top, pau ferro back and sides), AE315K (Solid Sitka spruce top, flamed Hawaiian koa back and sides), AE315ZR (Solid Sitka spruce top, ziricote back and sides) and AE355K (flamed Hawaiian koa top, back and sides) are similar models with different wood species.
The AE315FMH was discontinued after just one year in production.
