AE275 Natural Low Gloss 2020 (more images)

The AE275 is an AE series acoustic/electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2020. It was produced in China.

The AE275 features a Venetian cutaway body shape constructed of a solid Sitka spruce top with standard X-M bracing on laminated okoume sides and back with a low gloss finish. The soundhole is round with an abalone and wooden rosette and a clear pickguard. It has a nyatoh Comfort Grip neck with a 20-fret katalox fingerboard with special wooden vine position markers and rounded edges. Components include a compensated bone saddle in a katalox bridge with Ibanez Advantage pins, a bone nut, and chrome die-cast tuning machines. Electronics consist of a T-bar undersaddle pickup and an Ibanez AP11 magnetic pickup mounted at the neck connected to an Ibanez Custom Electronics preamp, volume and tone controls and a ¼" endpin output.

For 2021 the body was very slightly enlarged. For 2023 the fretboard and bridge material were changed to pau ferro and a new Dark Tide Blue Flat finish was introduced.

The AE275SPM is a similar model with sapele pommele back and sides and Macassar ebony fretboard and bridge. The AE275FM is a related model with flamed maple back and sides. The AE275BT is a related baritone model.

The AE275 was discontinued after 2023 in all markets except USA; it was discontinued completely after 2024.
