The AE15N is a nylon-string AE series acoustic/ electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1999. It was produced in South Korea.
The AE15N features a thinner grand concert shaped body with a soft venetian cutaway. The top is cedar with black and white binding on mahogany back and sides with a high gloss finish. The round soundhole has an intricate marquetry rosette. It has a mahogany neck with 19-fret rosewood fingerboard with a classical headstock. Components include a plastic saddle in an rosewood bridge with tie block, a plastic nut, and gold classical tuning machines with pearl buttons.
Electronics consist of a Fishman sonicore pickup connected to an Ibanez AEQ40 4 Band-EQ preamp with onboard tuner powered by a 9V battery and ¼" stereo output jack.
