The ACFS580CE is an Artwood series acoustic/ electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2019. It was produced in China.
It is part of the newly created Fingerstyle collection which incorporate several features specifically for fingerstyle players. These include a deeper body for richer acoustic sound, a deep round neck heel for improved access to the upper frets and dual pickups with dual outputs.
The ACFS580CE features a cutaway grand concert body shape with a selected solid alpine spruce top on solid pau ferro sides and back with an open pore semi-gloss finish. The round soundhole has a pau ferro and abalone rosette and a clear pickguard. The 25⅝" scale Comfort Grip (thin C shape) African mahogany and pau ferro neck has a satin finish and a 20-fret ebony fingerboard with a rounded edge. Components include a compensated unbleached oil-impregnated bone saddle in an ebony bridge with ebony bridge pins with abalone dots, an oil-impregnated bone nut, and chrome Gotoh tuning machines. Electronics consist of both an Ibanez T-bar undersaddle pickup and a block contact pickup connected to an Ibanez DP1 preamp powered by a pair of AAA batteries, and dual ¼" output jacks.
For 2021 the body was very slightly enlarged and the factory strings were changed.
