The AC429E is an Artwood series acoustic/ electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2021. It is made in China and is a spot model which is sold only in Japan.
The AC429E features a grand concert body shape with a solid Sitka spruce top on flamed maple back and sides with an open pore finish. The round soundhole has a black and white acrylic rosette and a black pickguard. The 25" scale maple neck has a 20-fret cultured maple fingerboard with small black dot position markers. Components include a compensated bone saddle in a cultured maple bridge with black Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, a bone nut, and chrome Ibanez tuning machines with black buttons. Electronics consist of a Ibanez T-bar undersaddle pickup connected to an Ibanez AHA-1 preamp powered by a pair of CR2032 button batteries, and a ¼" endpin output jack.
