The AC400 is an Artwood series acoustic guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2014. It was made in China and was sold only in the USA.
The AC400 features a grand concert body shape with a soft Venetian cutaway constructed of a a solid Sitka spruce top with tortoise shell binding and gloss finish on mahogany back and sides with a satin finish. The soundhole is round with an simple black and white acrylic rosette and a red tortoise pickguard. It has a mahogany neck with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with small white dot position markers. Components include a compensated bone saddle in a rosewood bridge with black Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, a bone nut, and chrome Grover open gear tuning machines with ivory buttons.
The AC400CE is an acoustic-electric version with a cutaway body. The AW400 is a related model with a dreadnought body.
