The ABF200 is an Artstar Bass series semi-hollow body fretless electric bass model introduced by Ibanez in late 1988[1]. It was crafted at the Terada factory in Japan.
The ABF200 features a semi-hollow, single-cutaway design with an arched maple top with ƒ holes and ivory binding on maple back and sides mated to a set-in super wood neck with a fretless rosewood fingerboard with ivory binding and black side dots. Components include a pair of IBZ Humbucker passive pickups, a OMNI adjust bridge, Sure Grip III knobs, a plastic nut and gold plated Ibanez tuning machines.
The AB100 is a realted model with a 3-piece mahogany neck, chrome hradware and other finishes. The AB200 is a similar fretted version.
