The AB200 is an Artstar Bass series semi-hollow body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez in late 1988[1]. It was crafted at the Terada factory in Japan.
The AB200 features a semi-hollow, single-cutaway design with an arched maple top with ƒ holes and ivory binding on maple back and sides mated to a set-in super wood neck with a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard with ivory binding and pearl dot position markers and black side dots. Components include a pair of IBZ Humbucker passive pickups, a OMNI adjust bridge, Sure Grip III knobs, a plastic nut and gold plated Ibanez tuning machines.
The AB100 is a related model with a 3-piece maple neck, chrome plated hardware and other finishes. The ABF200 is a similar fret-less version.
