The AS180 is a hollow body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1997. It was made in Japan by FujiGen.

The AS180 features a semi-hollow, double cutaway body design with an arched laminated maple top with ƒ holes and ivory multi-binding on maple back and sides with a maple center block mated to a set-in mahogany and maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with ivory binding and dot position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Super 58 humbucking pickups with chrome covers and individual volume and tone controls and a Tri-sound switch for the neck, black pickup rings, a Tune-o-matic style Gibraltar II bridge, a Quik Change II tailpiece, a bone nut, a tortoise shell pickguard, Sure Grip knobs, and Gotoh tuning machines with pearloid buttons.

Some AS180 labels had "AAS180" stamped on the label. It's believed that this was just an error in the creation of the label and there is no difference to these "AAS180" examples.[1]

The AS200 is a similar model with a flamed maple body, an ebony fretboard with split block inlays and gold hardware. The AS100 is a similar predecessor.

The AS180 was discontinued in 2000.
