The AAD140 is an acoustic guitar model introduced by Ibanez in late 2020. It is among the initial models in the new Advanced Acoustic series. It is produced in China.
The AAD140 features a grand dreadnought body shape with a solid okoume top with X-M bracing and okoume back and sides with an open pore finish. The soundhole is round with a wooden multi rosette and the top is bordered with black binding. It has a low oval grip Thermo-aged nyatoh neck with a 20-fret ovangkol fingerboard with a rounded edge and white dot position markers. Components include a plastic saddle in a scalloped ovangkol bridge with black Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, a plastic nut, a red tortoise pickguard and chrome Ibanez die-cast tuning machines.
The AAD100 is a similar model with a solid Sitka spruce top.
The AAD140 was discontinued after 2023 in all markets except USA.
