The AAD1012E is a twelve string Advanced Acoustic series acoustic/ electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2022. It is produced in China.
The AAD1012E features a grand dreadnought body shape constructed of a solid Sitka spruce top with X-M bracing on laminated okoume sides and back with a low gloss finish. The soundhole is round with a wooden multi rosette with binding and the top is bordered with black binding. It has a low oval grip Thermo-aged nyatoh neck with a 20-fret ovangkol fingerboard with a rounded edge and small white dot position markers. Components include a compensated bone saddle in a scalloped ovangkol bridge with black Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, a bone nut, a red tortoise pickguard and chrome Ibanez die-cast tuning machines.
Electronics for the AAD1012E consist of an AP11 magnetic pickup mounted at the end of the fretboard with volume and tone controls and a ¼" end-pin output.
