The AAD100 is an acoustic guitar model introduced by Ibanez in late 2020. It is among the initial models in the new Advanced Acoustic series. It is produced in China.
The AAD100 features a grand dreadnought body shape with a solid Sitka spruce top with X-M bracing and laminated okoume sides and back with an open pore finish. The soundhole is round with a wooden multi rosette and a red tortoise pickguard and the top is bordered with black binding. It has a low oval grip Thermo-aged nyatoh neck with a 20-fret ovangkol fingerboard with a rounded edge and small white dot position markers. Components include a plastic saddle in a scalloped ovangkol bridge with black Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, a plastic nut, and chrome Ibanez die-cast tuning machines.
The AAD100E is an electric/acoustic version. The AAD140 is a similar model with a solid okoume top. The AAD50 is a related model with sapele back and sides and purpleheart fretboard and bridge.
The AAD100 was discontinued after 2023 in all markets except Japan.
