The 92UCGR4 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1992. It was produced in the United States as part of the Custom Graphics series of the USA Custom line. The Custom Graphics models feature bodies which are handpainted in California by American artist Dan Lawrence with a variety of images.
The 92UCGR4 features a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include a DiMarzio FRED humbucking pickup at the bridge and a PAF Pro humbucker at the neck flanking a DiMarzio-made USA/IBZ C3 single-coil, a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge, a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines.
This represents only the "stock" configuration, as customers could customize the guitar to their own desires. The customer could select the pickup configuration and pickups, the fretboard material and inlays, the headstock, the hardware color and more.
The 92UCGR4 was discontinued after 1992 along with the rest of the USA Custom line.
