The 764 is a Concord series acoustic guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1974. It was crafted in Japan.
The 764 features a dreadnought body with a fine grained spruce top on a beautiful grained jacaranda back and sides with a high gloss finish. The round soundhole is trimmed with a black and white wood marquetry rosette and a black pickguard. The mahogany neck has a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard, black dot position markers and white side dots and a matching headstock. Components include a plastic saddle in an elegant rosewood bridge with white bridge pins with black dots, a plastic nut, and gold plated smooth tuner machine heads.
The 764 and the 802 were the most expensive Concord models.
