The 693 is a Concord series acoustic guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1974. It was crafted in Japan.
The 693 features a dreadnought body with a fine grained spruce top on rosewood back and sides. The round soundhole is trimmed with abalone wood marquetry rosette and a tortoise shell color pickguard with floral & dove motif. The mahogany neck has a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard, pearloid parallelogram position markers with black side dots and a black headstock. Components include a plastic saddle in an adjustable rosewood bridge with fancy dove shape inlays, a plastic nut, and chrome plated machine heads.
