The 684E/12 is a 12-string Concord series acoustic/ electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1974. It was crafted in Japan. It is also know as the 684/12E
The 684E/12 features a dreadnought body with a fine grained spruce top on mahogany back and sides with a high gloss finish. The round soundhole has a black and white acrylic rosette and a ornate hummingbird pickguard. The mahogany neck has a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearloid parallelogram position markers, the headstock features a black overlay with white Ibanez logo. Components include an Ibanez Hi-power pickup installed between fingerboard and soundhole, a tone and volume control, a compensated plastic saddle in an adjustable rosewood bridge with ivory bridge pins, a plastic nut, and chrome plated smooth tuner machine heads.
The 684E is a six-string model with pearloid block position markers.
