The 643 is a Concord series acoustic guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1974. It was made in Japan
The 643 features a concert body shape with fine grained spruce top bound with black and white binding on selected rosewood back and sides. The soundhole is round and trimmed with a black and white purfling rosette and a black pickguard. It has a solid mahogany neck, a 20-fret polished rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers and white side dots and a matching slotted headstock. Components include a none compensated bone saddle in a polished rosewood bridge, a bone nut, and chrome plated precise tuning machine with pearloid buttons.
