The Ibanez 540PⅡ-SH (or 540PII-SH) is a Power series guitar model introduced in 1988 as part of the Roadstar Pro series. Features include a basswood body, two DiMarzio made IBZ/USA pickups, a 24-fret Wizard neck and an Edge tremolo. The 540PⅡ models are based on a new 'reverse style' body shape replacing the older Power series body shape introduced only one year earlier.

Multiple versions of the Power model were introduced in 1988 and 1989: a version two humbucking pickups was issued as the 540PⅡ-HH. Both 540PⅡ models originally were for the Japanese and European market. Two 22-fret models without pickguard were introduced in 1989 as the 540PHH and 540PSH for the US market.

Although these guitars are not signature models, they were strongly associated with guitarist Alex Skolnick of Testament fame.
