1973 Cimar model 356-NT

The 356 is a Cimar acoustic guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1973. It was produced in Japan.

The 354 features a grand concert body shape with fine grained spruce top on chito-wood back and sides with black and white binding and high gloss finish. The round soundhole has a black and wood marquetry rosette and a black pickguard. The mahogany neck has a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers. Components include a plastic saddle in an adjustable rosewood bridge with a pair of pearl dot inlays, a plastic nut, and chrome die-cast machine heads.

For 1975 the body material was changed to mahogany.

The 354 is a similar model with mahogany body. The 357 is a dreadnought model with the same body material.

The 356 was discontinued after 1975.
