The 3551 is a Tama acoustics series classical guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1974. It was made by Tama Seisakusho Co. in Aichi, Japan.
The 3551 features a grand concert body shape with well-seasoned solid cedar top on selected well-seasoned solid rosewood back and sides. The soundhole is round and trimmed with an intricate inlaid wood rosette. It has a hand-shaped mahogany neck, a 19-fret ebony fingerboard with a rosewood headstock. Components include a none compensated bone saddle in a polished rosewood bridge with tie block, a bone nut, and deluxe gold plated machine heads with butterfly-shaped buttons.
