The 355/12 is a 12-string Cimar acoustic guitar model introduced and sold by Ibanez for 1973. It was produced in Japan.
The 355/12 (also referred to as the 355-12) features a dreadnought body with fine grained spruce top on mahogany back and sides. The round soundhole is trimmed with black and white purfling rosette. The mahogany neck has a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot position markers and a matching headstock. Components include a plastic saddle on adjustable rosewood bridge covered with mother of pearl dots, a bone nut, and chrome die-cast machine heads.
The 355 is the six-string version. The 359/12 is a similar model with a fancy three piece rosewood and mahogany back.
