2683 Brown Sunburst Red copyright sprite

The 2683 is a Professional series solid body guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1976. It was made in Japan.

The 2683 features a double cutaway maple body with solid maple top brown sunburst finish mated ted to a set-in hard laminated maple neck with adjustable truss rod, a 24-fret polished ebony fingerboard with pearl dots and a black headstock. Components includes a pair of Super 70 humbucker pickup's,Tune-O-Matic bridge with stop-bar tail-piece, individual controls and Smooth tuner chrome plated machine heads.

The 2683 was offered only in 1976.
