2657 Zebra Red copyright sprite

The 2657 is a solid electric bass guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1976. It was crafted in Japan. It's visually similar to Fender's Jazz Bass model.

The 2657 also know as the 2657ZB features a solid burned ash body bolted to a hard rock maple neck with a 20-fret maple fingerboard with black dot position markers and a matching headstock. Components include a pair of Hi-power bass pickup's, a black pickguard with a wooden tug bar, a plastic nut, a standard bridge with chrome plated tailpiece and cover, chrome plated individual machines heads.

The 2656 is a related model with a pair of jazz pickup's and pearl block fingerboard inlays.

The 2657 was offered only in 1976.
