The 2630 is an Artist series hollow body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1977. It was made in Japan.

The 2630 features a full-sized, thinline, semi-hollow, double cutaway body design which is reminiscent of a Gibson ES-335. It has an arched curly maple top with ƒ holes and ivory multi-binding and a curly maple back on maple sides with a hard rock maple center block mated to a set-in rock maple neck with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard with ivory binding and pearl and abalone split block position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Super 80 humbucking pickups with gold covers and individual volume and tone controls and a Tri-sound switch for the neck, ivory pickup rings, a Tune-o-matic style Gibraltar bridge with heavy brass tone block set into the body, a Gibraltar tailpiece with a scalloped ornament, a half bone/ half brass nut, Sure Grip knobs, and VelveTune tuning machines with ivory buttons.

For 1978 a tortoise pickguard was added.

The 2629 is a similar model with a birch body, dot fretboard inlays and no Tri-sound switch.

The 2630 was discontinued after 1978. It was replaced by the AS200 (1979–2003) which has pointier horns and repositioned pickup toggle and output.
