The 2626B is an Artist series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez in 1976. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen.
The 2626B features a double cutaway solid ash body mated to a set-in laminated rock maple neck with adjustable truss rod a 20-fret ebony fingerboard with abalone dot position markers and a black headstock with truss rod cover. Components include a pair of special design single-coil pickup's in the neck and bridge positions, individual volume and tone controls, a three-way toggle selector, a 3 point adjustable chrome plated fixed bridge, a plastic nut and chrome plated machines heads.
The strings enter throught the body for incresed sustain.
