The 2452B/DX is a solid body electric bass model made by Ibanez for 1975. It was crafted in Japan. It's visually similar to Gibson's Ripper model.
The 2452B/DX features dubel cutaway solid maple body with sunburst finish mated to a set-in hard laminated maple neck with a 20-fret rosewood or maple fingerboard with pearloid dot position markers and a open-book headstock. Components include a pair of Ibanez™ Bass-Master humbucking pickups with chrome covers in the neck and bridge positions, a fixed bridge and chrome plated machine heads.
For 1976 the headstock was changed to a revised design.
The 2452B is a similar model with a detachable neck.
