The 2452B is a solid body electric bass model made by Ibanez for 1975. It was crafted in Japan. It's visually similar to Gibson's Ripper model.
The 2452B features dubel cutaway solid maple body with sunburst finish bolted to a hard laminated maple neck with a 20-fret rosewood or maple fingerboard with pearloid dot position markers and a open-book headstock. Components include a pair of Ibanez™ Bass-Master humbucking pickups with chrome covers in the neck and bridge positions, a fixed bridge and chrome plated Deluxe machine heads.
For 1976 the headstock was changed to a revised design.
The 2452B/DX is a similar model with a built-in neck.
