The 2451 is a solid body guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1975. It was made in Japan. It's visually similar to Gibson's Les Paul L6S model.
The 2451 features a single cutaway figured maple body with natural finish bolted to a hard laminated maple neck with a 24-fret maple or rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers and open-book headstock. Components includes a pair of Super 70 humbucker pickup's, a Harmon-o-matic fixed bridge with stop-bar, individual controls with 6-way rotary switch and Deluxe individual chrome plated machine heads.
The 2458 is a related model with same pickup configuration and 6-way position selector.
The 2451 was discontinued after 1977.
