2408-3 "Eagle" Walnut Red copyright sprite

The 2408-3 is a limited edition Artwood series solid body electric guitar model made by Ibanez for 1975. It was made in Japan. It is believed that approximately 30 instruments were sent to China to receive the carved tops of the three 2408 finishes.

The 2408-3 features double cutaway body with a carved "Eagle" on the top and walnut finish bolted to a laminated maple neck with adjustable truss rod and 21-fret maple fingerboard with black dot position markers and carved headstock. Components include SC-Sound pickup's in the neck, middle and bridge positions, a Vintage chrome Ashtray tremolo bridge, a white pickguard and chrome plated individual tuning machines.

The 2408-1 is a related model with a "Dragon" carved top. The 2408-2 is a related model with a "Cornucopia" carved top.

The 2408-3 was offered only in 1975.
