The 2405 also know as "Custom Agent 2405" was the Ibanez answer to the Gibson "lawsuit". This solid body electric guitar model was introduced in 1974. It was made in Japan as part of the Artist series line.
The "2405" features a single cutaway Mahogany body with maple top mated to a set-in mahogany medium sized neck with a rosewood fingerboard with fancy banjo ornate inlays, it had a classic F5 mandolin scroll headstock, a black pickguard, and a faux ivory inlay behind the bridge tailpiece & a pair of Ibanez Dual Super 70 Paf style Humbucking pickups.
The Ibanez Custom Agent 2405 was only produced for a short time in the mid 70's and was one of the top of the line guitars for the company.
