The 2404 is a double neck SG model introduced by Ibanez for 1974. It was made in Japan by FujiGen.
The 2404 features a six string guitar neck and a four string bass neck on a mahogany body with birch top and back bolted to a pair of rock maple necks with 20-fret rosewood fingerboards with pearloid dot position markers. The guitar neck has a pair of Ibanez Super 70 humbucking pickups with exposed cream bobbins in black pickup rings, a Gibraltar Tune-O-Matic style bridge and Quik Change tailpiece. The bass neck has a pair of chrome plated humbucker pickup's and a Gibson Style EB bridge. Other components consist of Witch hat control knobs, black pickguards and covered tuners.
The 2404DX is a similar model with gold hardware and white finish.
