The 2401 is a semi-hollow body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1974. It was made in Japan. It's visually similar to Gibson's ES-335 model.
The 2401 features a double cutaway semi-hollow mahogany body design with ƒ holes on mahogany back and sides in gold top finish with black and white purfling bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with white binding, pearloid trapezoid position markers with black side dots and an open-book headstock. Components include a pair of Clear-Sound single-coil pickup's with separated polepieces, individual volume and tone controls, a white pickguard, Tune-O-Matic fixed bridge a bone nut and chrome plated Smooth tuner machine heads.
