The 2399DX is a Deluxe solid body electric guitar model made by Ibanez for 1974. It was crafted in Japan. It's visually similar to Gibson's L5S guitar model.
The 2399DX features single cutaway laminated maple body with a five-layer black and white binding mated to a set-in laminated maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and mother of pearl block position markers, black side dots and an open-book headstock. Components include a pair of Ibanez™ Clear-Sound low-impedance pickup's in the neck and bridge positions, a Harmono-matic bridge with T-bar trapeze tailpiece and gold plated Smooth tuner individual tuning machines.
The 2399 is a similar model with a pair of Super-70 humbucker pickups.
