The 2393 is a Gibson Les Paul style guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1974. It was crafted in Matsumoto Japan by FujiGen.
The 2393 features a single cutaway arched mahogany top with mahogany body bolted to a detachable mahogany neck with a 22-frets maple fingerboard with black block position markers, black bound edges and a white side dots. Components includes a Tune-o-matic style fixed bridge with a stopbar, a pair of Hi-Power humbucking pickups, a black pickguard, chrome plated individual machine heads.
For 1975 the humbucking pickups were changed to Maxon Super 70.
The 2391 is a related model with natural finish. The 2392 is a related model with rosewood top. The 2398 is a related model with maple top.
