The 2388 is a rickenbacker style guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1975. It was crafted in Japan by FujiGen.
The 2388 features a double cutaway rickenbacker shape with a curly solid maple body bolted to a maple / medium C profile neck with a .82" deep at the 5th fret, rosewood fingerboard with 24 frets a 7.25" lacquered radius & fancy sparkle inlays, Ibanez custom tuners, a Dual SUPER-wounded 'Toaster Top' style single-coils pickups, Controls are 2 master volume / 2 tone & 3-way toggle switch,it comes with a single-ply white pickguard, black plastic control knobs with silver inserts, a fixed bridge with individually adjustable saddles and an Ibanez custom tailpiece.
