The 2383 is a SG Standard style guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1971. It was crafted in Japan.
The 2383 features a double cut Gibson SG style mahogany solid body with selected birch top in high gloss finish bolted to a mahogany medium C profile neck, a 22-fret ebonized rosewood fingerboard with pearl block position markers. Components include three gold plated Maxon Super 70 Humbucking pickups with (2x) volume, (2x) tone controls and a three-way toggle selector, a Bigsby-style vibrato bridge, and Gotoh star tuning machines.
The 2382 is a similar model with two humbuckers and chrome hardware.
