The 2376 is a solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1972. It was produced in Japan. It's visually similar to Fender's Jazz bass model.
The 2376 also know as the 2376B features a double cutaway solid mahogany body with figured tek top bolted to a hard laminated maple neck with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearloid block position markers and a maple headstock. Components include a pair of Ibanez™ JB-Sound pickup's in the neck and bridge positions, a fixed bridge with a cover plate, a white pickguard with a black plastic tug bar, a plastic nut and chrome plated individual tuning machines.
For 1974 the fretboard was changed to maple with black block position markers. The finish of this model is sometimes called mahogany instead of walnut.
