The 2371 is a semi-hollow body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1971. It was produced in Japan. It's visually similar to Gibson's EB-2D bass model.

The 2371 features a thin double cutaway semi-hollow body design with ƒ holes and arched birch top with selected birch on back and sides bolted to a hard laminated maple neck neck with a 20-fret ebonized rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot position markers and a black open book headstock with a truss rod cover. Components include a pair of Bass-Master humbucker pickup's (a large "Sidewinder" in the neck position and a mini-humbucker pickup in the bridge position) with adjustable polepieces, a black pickguard, a fixed bridge with a chrome plated string damper, a plastic nut and chrome plated individual machines heads.

The 2370 is the guitar version of this model.

The 2371 was discontinued after 1974.
